WPC: Transient

Barcelona Station

A railway station is a place of transience. People and trains arrive and depart. Always in flux.

Heyjude

I now live back in the UK, but spent several years travelling the world and then living in South Africa. I look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

    1. I agree with Pete and could not say it better. Excellent capture and lightening.
      Warm midsummer greetings from Norway,

      1. I was trying to remember your route north and was pretty sure York wasn’t on it, and I knew it wasn’t Durham station. I was rather a long way out. 🙂 Queens has become a bit of a damp squib. I was hospital visiting this afternoon and had half an eye on Cilic. Not worth more.

        1. Hospital visiting? Nothing serious I hope. The Lopez match wasn’t bad, but a lot of the other matches have been rather boring this year. I hope Wimbledon isn’t the same. All the serve points and short rallies isn’t for me.

  1. Always something very poignant about travel photos sans humans….tells of a journey in the making, busy with life, travellers about to embark upon their separate ways yet in the same direction, unknown to one another yet sharing the journey. But without those people, it speaks of the loneliness of the traveller. Or perhaps, the aloneness. Great photo Jude..see, you’ve made me wax all lyrical! Ahh….I’ve missed you and your posts greatly. And I’m going to disappear again with the house move fast approaching and I am not at all ready, as in not done a thing. My blogging has definitely deteriorated, hoping it will improve as things calm down, ever the optimist. Have a lovely summer enjoying your spectacular views and countryside – and you never know, St Ives calls still 😉 See you soon my friend… love & hugs to you… Sherri ❤ xxx
