For the month of November I’m looking for a bench with either a message OR an Autumnal theme
(any kind of writing will do, it could be a message, a plaque, a dedication or even a map)

If you would like to join in with the Bench photo challenge then please take a look at my Bench Series page. No complicated rules, just a bench and a camera required 🙂
- Create your own post and title it Bench Series: November
- Include a link to this page in your post so others can find it too
- Add the tag ‘bench series’ so everyone can find the benches easily in the WP Reader
- Get your post in by the end of the month, as the new bench theme comes out on the first Sunday in December.
This is the final week for benches with a message so get them in soon!
My Picks of the Week:
And still the messages come in. Elaine has a sweet one even though the bench is ordinary, or if you are feeling a bit down, this might help. Some of you may remember the Sensational Alex Harvey, the last teenage idol! And autumn benches too. The lengths photographers go to to get a shot!
As always there are so many delightful benches to view, I hope you will check out the other links within the comment section.
such beautiful and wonderful journey!
A very clever choice for autumn. And a beautiful shot.
Thank you Debbie!
And now I have an autumn bench to share: http://travelwithintent.com/2015/12/01/autumn-schonbrunn-palace-vienna/
Oh no, snow as well! 😉
I have to go with George and Irene, for the sheer simplicity of their bench message.
Regards as always, Pete. x
Clever you, spotting that detail on the bench. Thanks for the mention. I have no more benches with messages for this month, but I am glad December is a ‘post what you like’ month because I have a few benches still to use which I saw after their category month had passed!
I think we all have some of those!
Wonderful bench! Looking for this strange color of the Värikollaasi Challenge, I found this hidden bench: https://geriatrixfotogallerie.wordpress.com/2015/11/29/bench-series-48/
No more messages – thanks for mentioning Alex (and George and Irene).
I rather think messages are running dry, but you can still post an autumnal scene if you have one? 🙂
No, but I have a whole lot for “anything goes” in December!
I second Debbie. A good choice, Jude.
Lovely bench, Jude.
Thanks Sylvia, I love the colour.
Thanks so much for the feature. I have carried a photo of that bench around so I will forget to keep going forward.
Jude I love this one! Well I love all your photos but this creative angle, the close up, not seeing the whole bench. Brilliant!
Experimenting with a new lens Sue, I rather liked this one too, sad broken bench as it is, but lovely colour.
That poor old bench is lovely, but it’s seen better days. I thought my graffiti-ised bench would be my last with a message, but I found another on the weekend.

Thanks Kaz, this is a delightful bench in a gorgeous location 🙂
Another bench which has seen better days: https://geriatrixfotogallerie.wordpress.com/2015/12/03/change/
Inspiring capture, Jude!
Love the pretty leaves, Jude. Will try and catch some of the others. How on earth does one catch up anyway? 😦
By having only a few blogs to follow?
Seriously, I haven’t posted much lately, just not in the mood.
Still house ‘worries’? A lot of people seem to be taking a more relaxed attitude to blogging. I believe it’s called living. 🙂
I’m beginning to think it will never actually happen, and now having doubts about the location which is keeping me awake at night. I never used to worry so it worries me that I am worrying!!!!
