Heyjude

I now live in the UK, but spent several years travelling and then living in South Africa. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

  1. Like Gerard, I was reminded of the Lynne Truss book. This is a great little book, and should be required reading for those of us obsessed with the placing of punctuation marks.
Back to the photos. Very nice Jude, and made me feel that the seasonal change is well and truly here.
    Regards as always, Pete. x.

    1. It’s just the little things you notice. I’m checking my fuchsia plants every day to see if there are any signs of life or if they are well and truly dead. It hasn’t been that cold here, but some of them are not very hardy. Hope it warms up for you guys soon!

      1. We have hope of hitting 50F tomorrow so I’m told. But will be a day of rain. However, this is not bad….perhaps it will get rid of the last of the snow still laying on the ground over here…….

I know just what you mean about looking for those signs of life…..we are in a new home, so I’m not even sure what was here before but I’m still out there everyday seeing if these apparently dead brown sticks will find new life……

  2. Bring it ON. Evidence of spring. Oh my. While driving down my street this morning, I thought I noticed little nubs on tree branches. How can that be? It’s been so cold. Maybe I’m right. Thank you for sharing your spring so far. ❤ ❤
