I live in the UK, but when I was younger I spent several years travelling the world followed by a period living in South Africa. I look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

    1. Thanks Sue – a lovely still evening and those jetties do draw the eye to the water. The lines, the reflections and the silhouettes; the peacefulness.

  1. Wonderful mood in this image, Jude. And a great story and a lovely impression to rest my eyes on.
    Sunny greetings from Cley, Dina

    1. Thank you Sue! (BTW I borrowed the button from you – but I think you mentioned that it isn’t yours. Do you know who it belongs to so I can credit them?) No worries, I found that it is a free icon, and I guess someone just added the words.

        1. Jude I’m not sure if that’s a compliment but if I’m like Carol that makes me happy. She is so hilarious and makes me laugh a lot. 🙂

        1. is true but my english is not so perfect. have to rely on google translator he translated what I think. i hope he make it.

    1. These challenges always get me thinking. I wasn’t sure what to use, but I liked this image so hoped it would do. Thanks Carol – when do you leave Phoenix?

      1. Friday! On my! Taking a break from sorting, packing, throwing stuff away, washing, panicking. I never, never, NEVER want to do this again!! Ever. Anyway, Friday. Arrive UK Saturday.

    1. We were very lucky as this was on our first night. Had an early dinner so walked down to the lake afterwards and caught the sunset. I’ll write a post about the walk around the lake soon 🙂
