Weekly Photo Challenge: On the Move

For this week’s photo challenge, share your interpretation of “on the move.”

It’s not often you see a pedicab in England, the one above is taken in the Quarry, Shrewsbury.

Or if you want to do the work yourself why not hire a multicycle? Though it could prove difficult if you have a couple of back-seat drivers 🙂

Heyjude

I now live back in the UK, but spent several years travelling the world and then living in South Africa. I look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

  1. No doubt you spotted the irritating fleets of cycle taxis on your recent trip to London Jude? They might be OK in a small resort, but they can cause chaos on the crowded streets of the city.
That 8-seater looks a bit tricky though!
    Regards as always, Pete. x

  2. My mother, daughter and I hired a pedicab in London once when we needed to get back to our hotel after a theatre show (the crowds were freaking Aspie D out and it was all we could find). It was terrifying, especially when he took us around the roundabout the wrong way!! It was also really cold but at least we were given a blanket to put over our knees. Still, we got back, in one piece… 😉

    1. The only thing similar to this I can think of that I have been on was a Karozzin in Malta, but that was pulled by a horse! It was my eldest boy’s 4th birthday and we were travelling around Europe/North Africa (another tale to tell one day) so didn’t want to buy him a toy. He still remembers it!
