Heyjude

I now live in the UK, but spent several years travelling and then living in South Africa. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

  1. Love that curvature of the earth!
Trying to think of the highest place I have been, but not that exciting. BT Tower, London. TV Tower, Berlin. TV Tower, Beijing. Mount Tibidabo, Barcelona. Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur. All great for cities, but can’t top Table Mountain Jude.
    Regards as always, Pete.

  2. I would have to say that the feeling of being on top would most often be on cycling trips after slogging up some mountain pass…Spain, Italy, Turkey, Slovenia. Hiking n our Canadian Rockies there are some great spots too. 🙂 You have included some fabulous photos!

    1. Thanks Jo. Hope you had a good one too. Can’t say I celebrate Easter at all, can’t say I celebrate anything much these days. Just happy to enjoy each day as it comes! Cornwall looking good – need some sun though 😉

    1. Mmm… I have never like tower blocks – and even less the fast lifts that get you to the top. Just doesn’t seem natural to be up so high in something man-made.

  3. Ah yes Jude, now I see what you meant about ‘great minds’. I have some pics of dassies and lizzies up there, but that was about 26 years ago, and I can’t find them. Love the meerkat rock. 🙂
